Make your own bathroom cleaner

Bathroom cleaners are easy to make yourself with just a few ingredients. The best thing about it? Not only do you save money, but you also protect the environment as your DIY cleaner is free from harsh chemicals.

Ingredients

For an empty 500 ml spray bottle you need

• 50 g citric acid (buy)
• 1 drop of washing-up liquid
• Optional: a few drops of essential oil for a nice smell (buy)
• Lukewarm water (lukewarm so that the citric acid dissolves better)

Pour the ingredients into the spray bottle, fill with water, shake and your own bathroom cleaner is ready. We have been using it for a long time and find that it removes limescale better than ready-made mixtures.
